Each year FAM Realty Group partners with two to three non-profit organizations, to support throughout the year through our transactions as well as through various events.
• This year, we are proud to be partnered with Got Your Back San Diego. Got Your Back San Diego is a weekend food assistance program developed specifically for children attending San Diego County schools who are identified as homeless and/or food insecure
• In an effort to support the children in our communities, GYBSD delivers backpacks full of food to local Tri-City schools. to sustain a child throughout the weekend.
• Upon closing, FAM Realty Group donates $500 in your name to Got Your Back San Diego, to support them in their efforts to make a difference for the underserved children in our communities

FIGHTING CHILDHOOS HUNGER IN OUR OWN BACKYARD

Got Your Back San Diego is a weekend food assistance program developed specifically for children who do not have reliable access to a sufficient amount of affordable, nutritious food. Currently we serve a small portion of children in the tri-city area of Northwest County where alone there are over 7,000 elementary grade students who have little to no food of any nutritional value after they leave school on Friday, until they return on Monday.

Saving Pets One at a Time
- A Dog & Cat Rescue
SPOT, Saving Pets One at a Time, is a leading San Diego County all-volunteer rescue organization whose main focus is to save dogs and cats in shelters who are at risk of euthanization and to help other dogs and cats in need as well. Our goal is to save treatable, trainable, manageable and misdiagnosed dog and cats. We rescue them and provide foster homes in order to give them the care, medical, behavior and training, they need until we find them their forever loving homes. Our ultimate wish is for all shelters to be empty – meaning that no animal is abandoned, and no shelter kills one animal to make room for another. We promote and advocate for spay and neuter programs in addition to Trap, Neuter, Release (TNR) programs for feral cats.

OTB is accomplishing this through an innovative approach that essentially manufactures hot, nutritious meals in industrial kitchens. Outside the Bowl Super Kitchens can cook thousands of meals a day which are delivered to ministries throughout urban areas in Haiti, Mexico, South Africa, and Malawi. These meals allow ministries to effectively, efficiently, and sustainably feed the most vulnerable in their communities. As physical hunger is alleviated, hearts become open to hearing thethe good news of Jesus.

Thrive continues to carry out its mission to rescue family-friendly dogs from abandonment and shelters and place them in loving forever homes. Additionally, it is our goal to educate adopters on the importance of their commitment to their new furry family member. We consider suitability a vital part of the process of placing a dog in a loving forever home and believe this diminishes the likelihood that a dog will become displaced or rehomed again, thereby reducing the number of viable dogs being euthanized.
